Personal data we process
Cairns Creative Studio processes personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. We process the following data:

Service providers and systems
We use various systems and service providers, including:

  • WooCommerce / WordPress - for managing orders and customer accounts
  • Mollie - for payment processing
  • DHL and PostNL - for shipping

Payments
For processing payments, we use Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and payment details in accordance with applicable data protection laws. See also: https://www.mollie.com/nl/privacy

Shipping
For the delivery of orders, we use DHL and PostNL. DHL and PostNL receive only your name and address details necessary for delivery.

Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your data will be processed via Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email. We do not send newsletters without your explicit consent.

Retention periods
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary, with the following retention periods:

  • Invoices and order data: 7 years (legal obligation under Dutch tax law)
  • Account data: up to 2 years after last activity, or upon deletion request
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent
  • Other customer data: up to 2 years after completion of the agreement

Sharing personal data with third parties
Wij delen jouw gegevens uitsluitend met derden (zie Service providers and systems) wanneer dit noodzakelijk is voor de uitvoering van onze overeenkomst of om te voldoen aan een wettelijke verplichting. Wij verkopen jouw gegevens nooit aan derden. Met verwerkers die namens ons persoonsgegevens verwerken sluiten wij waar van toepassing een verwerkersovereenkomst af.

Cookies
We only use functional cookies that are necessary for the operation of the webshop, such as remembering items in the shopping cart and login details. We do not use tracking or analytical cookies from third parties.
