Bowl (XL) Organic Rainbow Moonstone

This bowl is part of the Resonance collection. Each piece is handmade, so every one is unique.

A quirky shape, with a wavy rim that happily does its own thing. Who says a clean design has to be straight? The greyish base keeps things calm; the dark speckles add a little excitement. Real pieces of rainbow moonstone are set among those speckles.

‘Rainbow’ might make you think of a whole spectrum of colours. Here, it’s much more subtle. Some of the moonstone pieces catch the light with a small shimmer, while others don’t. I’ve also added a touch of mica that shifts colour with the light. No dazzling colour show here - you'll have to look a little closer.

Rainbow moonstone is associated with balance and new beginnings. A nice little detail to know. Personally, I was mostly drawn to those tiny shimmers you only see when the light falls just right.

A substantial, weighty bowl with a rim that happily does its own thing. A few walnuts in their shells or some pine cones for decoration - lovely! At home, we keep the same bowl in a different finish by the front door. All the keys go in when we get home - so handy! And it saves us al lot of frustration hunting for them ; )

Dimensions: length 30 cm | width 14,5 cm | height 6 cm
