Duo – Rainbow Moonstone

These two belong together. This tray is from the Resonance collection. The smaller tray fits inside the larger one, but they look just as lovely side by side or in separate places.

A greyish base, dark speckles and a touch of marbling. I’ve added genuine rainbow moonstone and a hint of colour-shifting mica to both trays. The same ingredients, each with its own pattern.

When you hear “rainbow”, you might picture a whole range of colours. These trays are much more subtle. In the larger tray, some of the moonstone catches the light with a gentle shimmer. I haven’t spotted it in the smaller one (yet). Maybe you’ll have better luck than me!

Rainbow moonstone is associated with balance and new beginnings. I was drawn to the beautiful iridescent blue you sometimes see when the light catches the stone just right. It’s amazing that such an unusual colour is formed naturally.

The set includes two handmade trays. The speckles, patterns and pieces of stone vary from one set to another.

Dimensions, large tray: length 24 cm | width 14.5 cm | height 1 cm.

Dimensions, small tray: length 13 cm | width 13 cm | height 1 cm.

I work with a water-based composite material. A considered choice, and a pleasure to work with.

These trays are for decorative use. They are not intended for serving meals or placing cut food on.

Decorative accessories are not included.
